Free radon test kits in Virginia

Virginia is not free, but it is close. The health department offers a limited supply of short term kits for a four dollar shipping fee, which is well under retail and covers the test itself. You order at vdhradon.org. The offer runs until the supply of kits runs out, with no restocking promise attached, so this is one to act on rather than save for later. Four dollars is low enough that the usual reason for putting this off does not really apply. If the supply has gone by the time you look, hardware stores carry short term kits.
