Free radon test kits in Alabama

Alabama did run a free kit giveaway and it has gone. The state health department says demand cleared out the supply, so there is nothing to request at the moment. What the department does instead is keep a list of companies that sell radon test kits, which saves you working out on your own who is worth buying from. If you want to wait and see whether free kits come back, January is when most states put attention and funding behind radon. If you would rather test now, the state list is a reasonable place to start looking.
