Free radon test kits in Texas

Texas has free kits, but not for everyone. The Texas Radon Group offers them to residents who qualify, and whether you do depends partly on where in the state you live. The page does not lay the rule out in detail, so the only way to know is to ask. If you do not qualify, kits are sold in hardware stores for roughly fifteen to twenty five dollars, which is a small amount for a definite answer about your own house. Start with the Texas Radon Group and fall back to a store if the answer is no.
