Free radon test kits in Nevada

Nevada runs its radon program through Extension rather than a health department, which is why people often cannot find it. The Nevada Radon Education Program provides test kits, and it also lends out radon monitors free of charge. The lending part is the interesting bit. A monitor gives a continuous reading rather than a single number from a few days, so you can see how levels move around. For a straightforward yes or no about your house, the kit is enough. Both come through the same program, so start there rather than at the state health department.
