Free radon test kits in Montana

Subsidized kitsSubsidized kits from the state, plus free kits for childcare providers

Montana does two separate things, and people usually only hear about one. The state Energy Bureau distributes subsidized radon test kits to residents generally, so kits cost something but less than retail. On top of that, the Choose Safe Places program gives free kits to people who run childcare, both current and prospective providers. If you look after children in your home or are planning to, that free route is the one that applies to you. Everyone else goes through the Energy Bureau. Montana also runs a radon hotline if you would rather ask a person than read a page.
